Aktuelle Verbreitung von H. halys in der schweiz (Stand 9 April 2018)
Mittlerweile hat sich die asiatische Wanze über weite Teile der Schweiz ausgebreitet. Grosse Vorkommen finden sich noch immer im Kanton Zürich, aber auch im Aargau, in Basel-Stadt und Basel-Landschaft, in Bern, Biel, Lausanne und Genf sind die Wanzen weit verbreitet. Im Tessin sind die Populationen momentan besonders gross und besorgniserregend sind erste Funde aus dem Wallis (Brig).
Potentielle Verbreitung in Europa
Eine Analyse der Klimadaten Europas zeigte, dass viele Bereiche Europas klimatisch für die Wanze günstig sind. Lediglich die nördlichen Gebiete, sowie montane Habitate sind für die Wanze ungeeignet. Die blauen Punkte zeigen die momentane Verbreitung der Wanze. Je dunkler die orange Farbe ist, um so günstiger ist das Klima für Halyomorpha halys.
